For the novelty of actually making a deadline, we report full results from Lion Fight XV at Foxwoods Resort and Casino on May 23, 2014. Having covered the Las Vegas scene dutifully, this place gives you just as much value for a lot more affordability. Plus the weather this time of year in New England might remind you why Europeans settled this country in the first place.

Muay Thai is King of the Ring

Bringing Lion Fight to the East Coast, Scott Kent makes it the first truly national Muay Thai show on the dual measures of talent (in the match making) and live audience. Without Glory’s seemingly bottomless bank account, the underdog in this competition might well pull off an upset. Who’d have thought going into the featured fights, for example, that three out of the four locals would upset the national favorites?

We’ll bring you more, once photos are available. Let’s just say for now that Kevin Ross proved – we believe convincingly – that you’re really settling for much less with Glory and/or K-1 than full rules Muay Thai done well. End Story Mark
