Gym Name: Dragons Gym Coach: Stu Holden HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT FIGHTING IN CANADA? I feel that fighting in Canada is a great opportunity for me as I've not really fought outside of the UK and to be able to show a different part of the world my skills in the sport I love so much is great. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE TOURNAMENT? I've fought in a 4 man tournament before but it was a 67kg max tournament but I was only 65kg. I won the tournament to become Northern Fight League Champion and I really enjoyed fighting twice in the 1 day. I'm looking forward to doing it again. ANY DIFFERENT PREPARATIONS FOR THIS TYPE OF EVENT? I train the same for every fight I have as I believe that if I always train to my best of my abilities I will always be strong whilst fighting. ANY THOUGHTS ON ANY OF THE OTHER FIGHTERS? I haven't really looked up any of the fighters as it makes me a little more nervous! I would rather just get down to it in the ring. WHAT DO YOU FEEL ARE YOUR STRONG POINTS? I think my height and reach will be a good advantage straight on. WHO DO YOU FEEL WILL BE THE TOUGHEST FIGHTER IN THE EVENT? Thais are always tough fighters but we are all equals going into this tournament so I believe that anything could happen. IF YOU WIN THIS TOURNAMENT WHERE DO YOU GO FROM HERE? If I win this tournament it would be great to come back to Canada to defend it. WHO IS YOUR DREAM MATCH UP FOR YOURSELF? The dream match up for me would be to fight Liam Harrison. Just to share the ring with him would be a brilliant experience. WHAT COUNTRY DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT IN? I would like to travel all over the world to fight and gain as much experience from each fight that I can. WHO ARE YOUR STRONGEST SUPPORTERS? My strongest supporter has to be my wife as she lets me train all the hours I need to and never asks for anything back. Without her I don't know if I would still be involved in Muay Thai and the same goes for my coach Stu. He has spent hours upon hours padding and sparring with me and all of his own time. I have the greatest respect for him. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE MUAYTHAI ATHLETE? (No Answer) DO YOU STUDY OTHER FIGHTERS WHEN YOU ARE PREPARING? I take a quick look at other fighters that I may be getting matched up with but I prefer just to keep head strong and concentrate on my own training. PREDICTIONS ON THE EVENT? I predict that this event is going to be explosive and I promise to deliver the wow factor.
